Claire is the Editor at Smart Bark, where she leads content, product testing, research, photography and reviews. She is a dog owner and fosterer, and works hands on with products as part of the Smart Bark testing process.

All products are tested in real life settings, both by Claire and a wider team of two and four legged testers, to assess usability, quality and performance. Testing covers a wide range of categories, including dog food, GPS trackers, health supplements, walking essentials, toys and beds.

Before joining Smart Bark, Claire worked as a Product Buyer at Sainsbury’s, giving her professional experience in sourcing, evaluating and comparing consumer products. This background supports her focus on identifying well made, practical dog products from both established and emerging UK brands.

Claire has spent 8 years reviewing and testing dog products, with a clear focus on helping dog lovers make informed, confident buying decisions based on real world experience.
