EasyEat Dog Feeder : Fundamentals

We adore the EasyEat Feeder and we're not the only ones. Stocked by Pets at Home too, EasyEat is an innovative raised feeding solution, designed specifically for flat-faced breeds such as Pugs and Bulldogs - although other breeds will love it too (and so will your kitchen floor).

EasyEat trough for pugs and flat-faced dogs

The first thing you'll notice is that it doesn't resemble a traditional dog bowl at all.

With its low, shallow front, wide opening, legs and high back, it looks more like a farm animal feeding trough. It's raised position promotes a natural feeding position, encouraging straight posture, better digestion, and open airways, important for dogs prone to breathing issues.

Plus the open, edgeless entry helps maintain a straight back with forward-facing head, which is crucial for avoiding postural strain and facilitates better airway alignment.

The elevated bowl brings the food closer to your dog’s mouth, meaning your four-legged friend doesn’t need to bend down so far.

The low front edge and extra wide opening means that your dog no longer needs to press their face against the bowl. Plus the higher back is designed to help prevent messy eaters from pushing food out.

All the food in the trough is so much easier to reach. We tested the Easy East with dry kibble but it will work equally well with wet or raw dog food.

Cleaning is a breeze with this bowl. Crafted from food-grade silicone, it’s dishwasher safe, features removable parts for simple washing, and is made from recyclable, environmentally friendly materials.

EasyEat Dog Feeder : Design

Sage green Easy Eat feeding station for dogs

The EasyEat isn’t just a dog bowl, it’s a stylish upgrade for your dog's dinner time! Check out these design features:

⭐️ Handy Handles - No more awkward bowl wrangling. Those smooth, built-in handles let you swoop the feeder off the floor like a pro.

⭐️ Stackability Magic - Got a dog gang? EasyEat bowls stack up neatly, so you reclaim precious cupboard space for other treats.

⭐️ Name Game - Make mealtime personal by adding your pup’s name. Let's face it, every dog deserves their own VIP bowl!

⭐️ Pastel Parade - Pick your favorite from a dreamy lineup of pastel shades including sage green, powder blue, rose pink and charcoal grey.

We’re especially loving the matte beige finish, so chic, it’s basically kitchen couture. Since dog bowls live on display, you might as well go for one that’s a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds!

Easy Eat raised feeder for dogs

The latest addition to the EasyEat range is a slow feeder insert. There’s an optional silicone slow feeder insert to further slow down eating and aid with digestion; all inserts are interchangeable across EasyEat products.

Well designed, this unique silicone trough has 3 raised ridges which are just enough to slow your greedy pup down, making them work just a little bit harder to find every last morsel.

EasyEat Dog Feeder : Testing

How did the EasyEat Feeder fare? In short - exceptional! Our reviewer described it as transformative for mealtime.

Feeding sessions shifted from chaotic to calm. Our French Bull Dog tester dined quietly, comfortably, and without hassle, all thanks to the thoughtful EasyEat design.

She was able to relax and savor her food with no more scattered kibble. The silicone feet kept the bowl steady and helped prevent spills, making cleanup effortless.

Additionally, a look at user feedback reveals many pet owners have seen major improvements in their dogs’ digestion, less regurgitation, and fewer post-meal tummy upsets since making the switch to the EasyEat Feeder.

Dimensions - Height 20cm ( height to low level entry 14cm), Width 27.5cm, Depth 18.5cm

Which Dog Breeds are Flat-Faced ?

Here are a list of the most common examples of flat-faced breeds -

English bulldog

French bulldog

Pug

Puggle

Pekingese

Boston terrier

Boxer

Bullmastiff

King Charles Spaniel

Chow Chow

Lhasa Apso

Shih Tzu

Do pugs need a special bowl?

Pugs and other dog breeds (see above), can benefit from a uniquely designed bowl because of their unique facial features. Their short noses make it difficult for them to reach food in a regular, flatter bowl, which can lead to frustration, air gulping, and eventually, health problems like bloat.

Why will a raised bowl help my pug ?

A raised stand elevates the bowl, which can be more comfortable for pugs with neck problems or senior pugs.
